WHY ANDY PRITCHARD?
I’M LIVING THIS QUESTION TOO.
I’m Andy Pritchard.
I’m 57, and I’ve spent more than three decades building businesses, leading people, making decisions, changing direction and learning — sometimes expensively — from what worked and what didn’t.
My professional life has taken me through financial services, entrepreneurship, investment, coaching, organisational leadership and football.
I’ve built businesses and experienced significant setbacks.
I’ve lived and worked in different countries.
I co-founded a youth football academy serving hundreds of young people.
I owned and led a senior football club.
I chaired a women’s football club.
Later in life, I returned seriously to education, studying organisational and business psychology and management at postgraduate and doctoral level.
For around eight years I have also developed a serious personal interest in longevity and healthspan.
I’ve studied the evidence.
Invested in my own health.
Measured it.
Changed how I train, eat and think about ageing.
And spent enough money along the way to become increasingly interested in separating what genuinely appears worthwhile from what simply sounds impressive.
At 57, I am asking many of the same questions that sit at the heart of Your Next 20.
What do I still want to build?
How healthy and capable do I want to be at 70?
Where should I invest my time?
What opportunities deserve my attention?
What still excites me?
What do I want my next 20 years to contain?
I don’t believe my life is a blueprint for yours.
